Improvisation is spontaneous play fuelled by acceptance and support. When we step from the classroom to stage we shift from playing as the aim, to using spontaneous play as a tool to develop stories to entertain an audience. This means developing an awareness of what we are doing and the impact it has on our partners and the work.

The Nursery has been bringing improv to Londoners for almost a decade. We run regular shows and classes, as well as offering rehearsal and workshop space hire, and bespoke corporate training.
