Improvisers are storytellers who create through a series of spontaneous moments. These moments generate possibilities, which are narrative promises we make to our partners and the audience. Often in the panic to be ‘interesting’ improvisers lose awareness of what they are creating and the opportunities of the story they are already telling. In this class we look at what we are creating in our scenes and stories and how we can use points of view and theatrical devices to enrich scenes with depth of emotion and dynamic content.
